Pasture Raised Whole Turkey - Deposit

At Red Acre Farm we believe every holiday meal deserves a centerpiece. Let our organically fed, pasture raised turkey add a special touch to the traditional holiday meal. Our turkeys roam freely on lush pastures, enjoying a diet of organic grains and foraged bugs which results in tender, flavorful meat. When you gather around the table with our pasture-raised turkey, you are embarking on an unforgettable feast with the finest quality, best tasting turkey available. Our turkeys are seasonally grown for fall harvest. When you order a turkey from Red Acre Farm, please specify/select a desired weight range for your final product. We recommend 12-18lb for final dressed weight. Giblets and neck will be included in the cavity and are included in final dressed weight. Deposits are nonrefundable and are applied towards total price. Turkeys are $10/lb and final price will be calculated once harvested and due upon pickup. Cash or check preferred for remaining balance. 

Our seasonal turkey pre-orders are now available! A $50 deposit secures your turkey for your family. Deposit applies towards to total price and is non-refundable unless we can't fulfill the order due to circumstances beyond our control such as mortality.

This year, turkeys will be fresh harvested just before Thanksgiving and will be fresh, never frozen. Pickup dates are November 25, 26, & 27th, 8am-6pm. After you purchase your turkey, please contact me via email, text, or phone to arrange your desired pickup date from our farm. Unless prior arrangements have been made, any turkeys not picked up by 6pm on Wednesday November 27th will be considered forfeited resulting in a loss of deposit and will be sold to other customers. Customers who cannot pickup turkeys on scheduled pickup days will be charged a $20 freeze and storage fee.

There are 4 selections for desired weight: under 14lbs, 14-16lbs, 16-18lbs, & over 18lbs, please be sure to select the desired size you want when you add the turkey to your cart. We grow our turkeys to customer desired size as best we can. There are limited quantities of each size slot. If we can't fulfill your desired size we will only charge you for actual size received if filled with a smaller turkey or if fulfill with a larger turkey then you will only be charged for the maximum size in that weight range you selected. Example1: You select 16-18lb and we only have 14-16 left when we fulfill, lets say you receive an example 15.8lb turkey. You will be charged for a 15.8lb turkey. Example 2: You select 14-16lb turkey and we only have a 17.2lb turkey left to fill your order, you will only be charged for a 16lb turkey. 

Our poultry is raised and harvested on our farm. They live a stress-free life free from antibiotics, steroids, hormones, and pesticides. Each turkey comes packed in a shrink wrap bag and labeled with safe handling instructions.
