Chicken For a Year

Want to secure a freezer full of chicken for your family in 2025? Our "Chicken for a Year" program is just the ticket. We only have limited availability in this program and will sell out quickly. Secure your family's supply of fresh, organically fed, pasture raised chicken now. 

Our chickens are packed with flavor and nutrients. They are the best tasting chickens you have ever had. A clean, nutritionally dense choice for your family. Secure that possibility in 2025! Your family and taste buds will thank you. 

We recommend 48 chickens for a family of four or more and 24 chickens for smaller families. You have a few options to choose from:

• Option 1) Select 24 or 48 chickens as whole chickens
• Option 2) Select 24 or 48 chickens as half whole and half cut up*
• Option 3) Selects 24 or 48 chickens as all cut up

*(Alternating whole and cut up birds each pickup)

Our cut up options will be parted out into boneless skinless chicken breast, bone-in-skin on thighs, legs, wings, and tenders. Each will come vacuum sealed with 2 breasts per bag, 2 thighs per bag, 4 legs per bag, 8 wing pieces per bag, and 8 tenders per bag. This gives you ultimate flexibility in how to use your chickens in recipes.

Don't worry about freezer space, your chickens will be spread out into 6 harvests throughout the year, spaced out approximately every other month. Whole chickens will be packed in freezer safe shrink bags and individual cuts will be vacuum sealed, both labeled with safe handling instructions.

2025 Pickup Schedule for Chicken for a Year:

• February 13-15
• March 20-22
• April 24-26
• May 29-31
• October 9-11
• November 13-15

Pickup schedule is subject to change due to things like weather events or growth rates. We will communicate if and when this changes and will waive any freezing fees to accommodate this change if needed. 

For planning and allocation of your chickens we do charge for the entire year in full. Payment is nonrefundable unless we fail to fulfill our commitment.

Chicken for a year customers benefit knowing they don't have to compete for availability on fresh harvests and they get an average size of each harvest which leads to more value to the customer. Last year we averaged greater than 5lb chickens. Chicken For a Year customers benefit by only paying for a 4-5lb chicken. 

We will contact you before harvest to remind you of our harvest date and confirm your exact pickup day. Chickens will be freshly harvested and need to be picked up within the pickup window above. We have limited freezer space available here on the farm so please make all efforts to pick up your order. We understand sometimes you are not able to make it. In the event you can't make it, we will freeze your birds for a freeze fee of $10 and freezer storage fee of $5 per day until you can pickup your order.
